Northern Arizona Pain
Doctor’s Link
Patient care isn’t the only thing we concentrate on. At Northern Arizona Pain we do whatever it takes to make sure the doctor is satisfied with the care and support their patient receives from Northern Arizona Pain.
- Every patient is spoken to on a one on one basis about the operation of the pain pump, either before or after their surgery.
- Every patient is given a phone number so they may speak directly to one of our representatives. This service is provided in case there are questions or issues regarding the device.
- There is a representative present during every case. This is to ensure the catheter is placed correctly and the pump is prepared to the doctor’s specifications.
- Since each surgery is different and each patient is unique, we can program our pumps to accommodate your specifications. Basal rates can vary from 1.0ml – 20.0ml per hour. In addition, a bolus option is available from .01 – 20.0 ml’s and has a lockout feature ranging from 5min to 12 hours.
- In some cases a patient is unable to make it to their appointment to have their pain pump catheter removed. Since our pumps stay with the patient for 3-5 days, the day of catheter removal often falls on a weekend. No matter the circumstance, we have trained nurses and representatives who are qualified to remove these catheters and we will contact the patient at their residence to do so.
We work closely with every surgeon we service. Because of our close relationships we are able to anticipate what they need and what parameters to program the device. At Northern Arizona Pain we pride ourselves in knowing our product inside and out. No more calls from your answering service at 2:00am about a patient in post-op pain. If there is a problem with the pump, the call comes to us instead. We wouldn’t have it any other way.
Sincerely
Joshua J Moroney
